MusicDevelopments has announced an update to its modular additive synthesizer designed to be highly efficient, flexible, and capable of rendering 50-70 thousand partials while having full control over each partial.
Version 1.5 of Syne includes ARM64 executable on Windows, and various improvements.
Syne is a fully modular additive synthesizer capable of rendering more than 70000 partials realtime on a recent CPU (=powerful) while having full control over each partial (=flexible). This allows making complex sounds that are not possible with other types of synthesis.
