Native Instruments has announced that its brand new Kontakt instrument Yangqin is available for free until January 31st as part of NI’s annual holiday gift.
With the holiday season fast approaching, and many folks unable to travel as they usually would due to COVID-19, Native Instruments is offering some free gifts to help support creativity in isolation and bring some festive cheer.
Capturing the distinctive sound of bamboo and steel, YANGQIN delivers the beautifully melodic tones of a traditional Chinese hammered dulcimer.
The instrument combines authentic sounds recorded on location in China with a variety of intuitive parameter controls such as scale, intensity and tremolo modulation, which give exceptional levels of control over a broad range of emotive textures and timbres.
Yangqin runs in Kontakt 6 and the free Kontakt 6 Player.
Also included in the holiday gift package is a 25 EUR/USD/GBP voucher to be spent at the NI online shop.
Finally, NI is offering free entry to a prize draw to win no less than a Maschine+, a copy of Komplete 13 Ultimate Collector’s Edition, a Komplete Kontrol M32 keyboard, and a Traktor Kontrol S3.
