Splice Sounds has launched Mixmash Essential Sounds Vol. 2, a collection of 143 loops and one-shots that showcases the sounds of Mixmash Records.

Mixmash Records is the record label founded by none other than Laidback Luke, a household name in the EDM and remixing scenes. The label started out focused on the producer’s own releases, but has since expanded to incorporate both industry giants and rising talents spanning Tiësto, Steve Aoki, Sidney Samson, Tocadisco, and more. “MIXMASH Sample Pack Vol. 2“ showcases a flavor of the label’s eclectic sound, containing thumping basslines, grooving drums, hard-hitting fx, and polished music loops that are sure to hold their own on any dancefloor.

Also available is Voltage Aesthetics, a sample pack by Atlanta-based electronic musician and sound designer Richard Devine.

Richard Devine is a sound designer and musician whose work, characterized by intricate rhythms and an extensive use of DSP, amassed a following within the IDM scene after his remix of Aphex Twin’s “Come To Daddy.” Over the course of his 25-year career, Devine has designed patches for gear by Native instruments, Korg, Eventide, and more. His “Voltage Aesthetics” sample pack reflects his seasoned sound design chops, filled with perfectly designed sounds that are at once wacky and beautiful. Spanning versatile one shots to polished loops, Devine’s sounds are nothing short of electrifying.

These new sounds from Mixmash and Richard Devine are now available to Splice subscribers.
