Nucleus SoundLab has announced the release of BFD Jazz and Funk, the second drum ReFill for Propellerhead Reason in collaboration with FXpansion.
This gigantic drum ReFill once again uses FXpansion’s ultra-detailed samples, while Nucleus SoundLab pulls it all together with Combinator kits that are designed to bring maximum funk to your productions.
BFD Jazz and Funk was recorded in a dry, intimate sounding room at Omega Studios, Maryland, USA. Centred around 3 exquisitely recorded kits and a wide range of hyper-detailed extras, most of the instruments in the collection are provided in both stick, and brushed versions. There is absolutely no better way to get that authentic brushed-drum sound in Reason than BFD Jazz and Funk. Of course, for all kit pieces multiple mic positions are available, as well as a very large number of velocity layers for all the jazzy dynamics you’ll ever need.
Nucleus SoundLab has taken these samples and brought them into the Reason environment with care. Special attention has been taken to optimize RAM usage with the creation of lite patches for low-memory systems and projects. Next, Combinator Drumkits have been created that take full advantage of the amazing breadth of samples available. If the sounds themselves don’t serve as enough inspiration to craft a great drumbeat, BFD Jazz and Funk also includes over 1900 funky/jazzy MIDI Drum loops to get you started.
BFD Jazz and Funk is available for purchase for the introductory price of $74 USD until June 2nd, 2015 (regular $99 USD).
