OB-Xd software synthesizer updated to v2.3, including new sound banks

discoDSP has announced the release of an update to the OB-Xd virtual synthesizer instrument based on the Oberheim OB-X.

Version 2.3 adds new sound banks from Vivolator and Blank Canvas, bringing the total number of banks included with OB-Xd to 22.

The update also includes:

• Added MIDI Program Change.
• Added Preset and bank manager.
• Dark edit menu.
• Updated framework.

OB-Xd is available for desktop (VST/VST3, AU, AAX, and standalone) and iOS. The desktop version is free for non-commercial use, while AAX is included with a registered license only ($49 USD).
