Online Music Foundry has released Granular Frame Drums, an expansion pack for Steinberg’s Padshop and Padshop Pro granular synthesizers, featuring 350 presets and 130 manipulated frame drum samples using various effects.
Designed by composer and producer, Gary Gibbons, at the World Worm Studios recording facility in Hong Kong, this sound set demonstrates unique tones and textures using only frame drum samples and the Padshop audio engine.
By using pitch correcting software that were processed with the audio industry’s leading plugins, this expansion pack delivers melodic patches fitting many styles of music and provides a foundation of FX & musical FX for sound design projects. It also provides user flexibility with modwheel and aftertouch functions for music creation. With percussion, pads and various tempo-synced patches, producers and composers can produce original compositions just by using the Granular Frame Drums expansion pack.
