Organic loops has introduced Acoustic Funk Drums, a collection of funky live acoustic drums performed by Trevor Smith alongside a programmed drum loops which kick back to classic House drum breaks.
Acoustic Funk Drums features over 700 individual loops recorded at tempos of between 72 and 160 BPM. The 707 Loops break down into 49 Live Acoustic Grooves as played by Trevor Smith whose 25 Year career has seen him play and record with great artist such as Mark King (Level 42), Glen Tilbrook (Squeeze), Edwin Collins and singer/songwriter Nick Heywood to name but a few.
The collection also features 25 Retro Classic House breaks programmed by Paul Joyner who switched from keyboard player to sound designer after a chance meeting with Paul White (Editor Sound on Sound Magazine) and since that time has recorded and produced for many broadcasting companies and independent labels. Paul also used his production skills to mix and master the numerous drum takes from Trevor’s session.
Each Groove here has been played or programmed over numerous bars and chopped into shorter 2 bar loops so they can be easy arranged and remixed to suit your production but we have also supplied the full loop for producers who prefer to do their own edits.
