Phonk for Serum contains a collection of 63 presets inspired by artists such as Ghostface Playa, Pharmacist, and Prxsxnt Fxture.
Drift Phonk is a subgenre of phonk that is characterized by the use of high bass, cowbells and distorted sounds, making the lyrics of the samples often unrecognizable. As Drift Phonk became popular on TikTok, it became more mainstream than the original genre.This, in turn, made the word “phonk” become more associated with the drift phonk subgenre. Drift Phonk has become the most popular new style of the expanding and splintering Hip Hop/House scene.
