Psycho Circuitry has announced the release of a new compressor effect plugin inspired by a mid ’60s channel limiter. The FET-162 gives a different kind of FET character.
Greatly expanded from the original with independent attack and release controls and “mods” to enact to change the timings. Plus version adds fully variable attack and release switches, external sidechain and dual mono mode!
FET-162+ is available for the intro price of $10 USD instead of $29 USD until December 29th, 2023. The 2-channel A-Tek FET-162x version ($35 USD instead of $59 USD) adds M/S, Dual Mono, linked/unlinked controls, and external sidechain support.
A free mini model of the plus version comes with 16 timing combinations, stereo and mono operation, oversampling up to 16x, fully resizeable GUI. It is available for Windows and Mac in VST3 and AU plugin formats.
