After introducing pureMix.Live last year with live streaming masterclasses and mixing sessions, pureMix.net has just launched their first 2-week mixing course designed by Grammy winner Fab Dupont.
The goal of this course is to help producers and engineers, from anywhere in the world, make a crazy amount of progress on their mixing skills in a very short amount of time.
This course is for intermediate to advanced engineers looking for a mixing framework and techniques that they can apply to all of their mixes in the future. pureMix’s teaching philosophy is that the best way to learn is by doing, and this course is all about doing the work!
The course blends together pureMix tutorials, multiple mixing assignments, and constant feedback & interaction with the course instructor Ian Kagey. Then to cap off the whole course, on February 19th Fab Dupont will host a day-long live streamed masterclass from his studio at Flux Studios in NYC. During the masterclass Fab will share his feedback on several student mixes and then mix the song from start-to-finish, answering any and all questions along the way.
Because of the interactive nature of this course, there is only room for 30 students. Since launching this masterclass on Jan 2nd, they’ve already received 23 applications with engineers applying from USA, South Africa, France, Colombia, UK, Spain, Singapore, and Brazil.
The course is available for $1,299 USD.
