QuikQuak has announced the release of version of 5.00 of its Pitchwheel audio effect plugin that allows you to change pitch and timbre in real-time.
It has a large, easy to use dials and simple parameters making it a fast and creative effect unit. It can give fine tuning control from fractions of a semi-tone to huge multi-octave pitch swings. 8 note chords can be played through MIDI, allowing harmonies to be constructed easily from the audio input.
Changes in Pitchwheel v5.00
- A clearer, redesigned interface.
- Whole plug-in now sizeable.
- Timbrewheel is now an optionable pullout wheel.
- Fixed clicking artefacts in polyphonic mode.
Pitchwheel 5.00 is available for Windows and Mac (VST/AU), priced at £50 GBP. Support for Pro Tools AAX is coming soon.
The update is free for existing users of Pitchwheel.
