RAUM 45 has announced that its AchtNullAcht TR-808 sample kit is now available for the Elktron Digitakt and Octatrack.
Previously available for Analog Rytm and Ableton Live, the kits simulate the characteristics of the TR-808 analog drum machine by Roland.
The TR-808’s OpenHihat, for example, has the Decay parameter. During the recording process, the parameters of this drum module were set in all possible combinations, with 11 scale steps per parameter. Per setting 12 repetitions were recorded. So the AchtNullAcht Drum Kit for e.g. consists of 132 OpenHihat samples, which are triggered randomly in the background (Random Cycle) to imitate the analog character.
The AchtNullAcht pack for Digitakt consists of 780 samples and 12 projects, while the Octotrack version includes 1,392 samples and 6 projects.
The Elektron kits are available at a 50% discount (4.99 EUR each), while the Ableton kit is 9.99 EUR for a limited time (regular 45 EUR).
