Resonance Sound has announced a new collection of patches and performances for the JP-8000 synthesizer from Roland.
Inspired by the soaring and electrifying sounds of Ferry Corsten, Push, Signum, Darude, The Thrillseekers and many other giants of Trance, JP-8000 Eternal celebrates the classic Trance riffs of the turn of the millennium.
The JP is the sound of many of those classics, there is no better place to return to find the pure excitement and energy of that era. There is a beauty in the JP’s big, brash sound, amazing sweet spots which these patches home in on, but there’s also some otherworldly sounds that the JP is capable of that aren’t showcased as often.
You’ll find some very organic and alien sounds in the pads section of the bank, beautiful leads and plucks, basses and X-mod sequences using the built in pattern generator. The performances are a special feature here too, with patches stacked, split and stereo mapped for an absolutely massive sound. The bank also features ribbon controller and or velocity assignments to provide cool variations on the majority of the performances and patches.
Comprising 64 patches and 64 performances, the Eternal soundset is available for Roland’s JP-8000 and JP-8080 hardware synthesizers. It is priced 22.95 EUR incl. VAT.
