British sound designer and award-winning independent film composer Tom Wolfe has a knack for creating beautiful cinematic presets. With a considerable amount of sound packs for popular software synths such as Omnisphere, Pigments and Diva under his belt, Tom has repeatedly delivered lovely atmospheric soundscapes, gorgeous pads, and other cinematic-style sounds.

So what do I think?
Pads come in a wide variety, but with Tom’s Ambient Pads collection you get exactly what’s on the tin. Gentle, tranquil, moving ambient pads. When browsing the presets, the first one already grabbed me immediately.
A focused pack like this one will have some similar sounding presets, but there’s actually a great range of timbres and textures found among these 50 patches. The overall tone is soft, delicate and emotive. Just how I like it!
