Rigid Audio has announced the release of its new virtual instrument Atheos, a 9 GB timestretching soundscape machine for Native Instruments Kontakt.
The instrument features 4 engines which run simultaneously, offering string, bass, piano, pad, ambient, texture, bell, wind, wave and fx instruments. The sampler, time-machine and tone-machine engines come with 300 instruments and the noise engine has another 150 instruments.
Atheos is a four layer soundscape machine for Kontakt 5.8.1 that comes with 260 preset snapshots that cover a wide range of sci-fi, texture and ambient sounds, ideal for moviescoring, underscores or video game trailers.
Atheos is available for the intro price of $5 USD until August 7th, 2019. It retails for $129 USD. It requires the full version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher.
