Rigid Audio has announced that its trailer scoring instrument is now available to download for free.
A loop-based Kontakt instrument, Cinematrix includes 350 preset “kits” that can be played in tandem across 4 categories: Bass, Ambient, Melody and Groove.
Cinematrix features
- The kits are built around the included 1300 24-bit WAV loops (unencrypted).
- Up to four loops per kit can be played simultaneously and polyphonically timestretched within a range of two octaves each.
- You can also play loops sliced as well. Each loop has its own color-coded range on the keyboard.
- Cinematrix comes with a built-in mixing and effects page, as well as a dedicated sequencer page for “spicing up” the preset kits.
- You can use the randomization feature to generate new kits to play easily.
Cinematrix is available for the full version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher.
