Plugin Boutique has announced a Black Friday sale on Voxengo, offering a 30% discount on all its plugins and bundles for a limited time.
The sale includes plugins such as Voxformer, Elephant, PrimEQ and SPAN Plus, which was just updated to version 1.9.
SPAN Plus is a real-time “fast Fourier transform” audio spectrum analyzer AAX, AudioUnit and VST plugin for professional sound and music production applications. For the most part it was derived from Voxengo GlissEQ dynamic parametric equalizer and reproduces its spectrum analysis functionality.
SPAN Plus is an extended version of the freeware SPAN plugin: SPAN Plus provides several additional features such as PNG file export, real-time spectrum import/export for cross-track spectrum comparisons, and static spectrums display.
Changes in SPAN Plus v1.9
- Added the “Align 0 dB” spectrum display mode. This mode enables alignment of stationary 1 kHz sinewave of 0 dBFS peak level to 0 dB visual level, irrespective of the “Block Size” setting. This mode may be useful for precise technical analysis of signals. When this mode is enabled, you may also need to set the “Slope” to 0, and adjust the “Range Low” and “Range High” values.
- Fixed a minor spectrum power shift in non-Hann window modes.
- Added FLAC file spectrum analysis.
- macOS Catalina-compatible and notarized.
