Sunhouse has released version 1.4 of Sensory Percussion, a major release that brings a completely rebuilt sampler that enables super fast kit switching.
Sensory Percussion enables massively detailed mappings. Loading large kits with over 700 samples mapped to just the snare used to take up to 20 seconds.
With version 1.4, these kinds of kits now load in 1-2 seconds.
Sunhouse also announced the release of a new free sound pack called Primordial Breakbeat that features over 3,600 detailed new live samples inspired by the sounds of funk, hip-hop and jazz drummers like Clyde Stubblefield, Questlove, and Ben Riley.
Check out the blog post on what else is new in the version 1.4 update.
Sunhouse has been adding some of the best drummers on the scene to its roster at a fast pace. New artists this year include the jazz drummers Gregory Hutchinson and Jaimeo Brown; both drummers from the musical Hamilton on Broadway, Andres Forero and Benny Reiner; and in Europe, the drummer Rasmus Littauer from the band Mø; among its existing greats like 2018 Modern Drummer Readers’ Poll winners Mark Guiliana, Stella Mozgawa and Jonathan Barber.
Sensory Percussion is available starting at $699 USD.
