Sinevibes has released version 1.3.0 of Gateboy, an advanced gate effect plug-in for Mac.
Sinevibes is happy to announce the new version of it’s popular Gateboy rhythmic modulation AudioUnit plug-in, which now gives even more possibilities to musicians seeking a very easy-to-use, yet highly flexible tool for slicing beats, creating complex riffs and trancegate effects, adding gentle motion or swing, and much more.
Changes in Gateboy v1.3.0
- New triplets timing allows to work with an even wider range of rhythms and time signatures.
- Improved host synchronization algorithm gives more stability, especially in live performance software, while also reducing processor load of the plug-in.
- As per feedback from existing users, more useful preset patterns have been added, bringing the total to 70.
- The user interface graphics have also been polished for better usability.
Gateboy is available as an AudioUnit plugin for Mac OS X Panther or later, priced at $29 USD. The update is free for owners of the previous versions of Gateboy.
