SKnote has announced its latest audio plugin UV, a model of a vintage modulation effect for guitar.
The original Uni-Vibe circuit is based on a pulsating light bulb surrounded by four photo cells, modulating phases to create a unique combination of frequency-dependent tremolo, vibrato, chorus and flanger sounds.
UV vibe is a component-level model of an extremely famous modulation effect, originally designed for guitar but great on a lot of sources.
This model of the vintage design (a lamp controls four light-sensitive devices to modulate the signal) contains the details that made that beautiful unit so famous.
UV for Windows and Mac (VST/AU/AAX) is available now for $29.99 USD. Owners of the PedalBench bundle can activate their license from the SKnote user area.
