Sonic Zest has announced the release of Trinidad Pans, a collection of deeply sampled steel pans playing octave tremolos.

You’re about to experience a swarm of steel pans warming up your airwaves like a Caribbean breeze.

We recorded four pans: a cello pan, a double alto pan and two soprano pans – all playing octave tremolos [the same note, an octave apart, play in quick succession]. When you spread this sound across the whole keyboard, add some reverb and start playing chords, you get a monsoon of lush textures and a tropical rainstorm of nanoscopic details that beautifully weave in and out.

Trinidad Pans features

  • Deeply sampled cello, double alto and soprano steel pans playing octave tremolos.
  • 6x round robins (3x true & 3x borrowed).
  • 0.4GB download. 0.5GB when extracted.

The sample library requires the full version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher. It is on sale at a 50% intro discount, priced $20 USD until December 20th, 2020.
