sonicLAB has announced the release of Cosmosƒ FX7, an update to the software that offers a complex network of delay buffers distributed and modulated with stochastic functions on multiple time scales.
It can process live audio input in various ways, offering the expected sonic richness of the Cosmosƒ signal processor. Cosmosƒ FX offers sophisticated delay buffer handling and sampling features of live audio with a stochastic event generation system.
The audio coming into Cosmoƒ FX will be input directly into the micro events leading to a bottom up sonic construction with the meso and macro stages. The complex network of delay lines handled within a hierarchy of Cosmosƒ, advanced DSP tools, powerful morphing engine and vast modulation possibilities offers a true lab of digital audio treatment.
Changes in Cosmosƒ FX7
- Revised DSP engine for difficult tasks.
- New Binomial meso and micro event density distribution.
- OSX Catalina compatibility.
Cosmosƒ FX7 is available as 64bit VST3/AU plugin and also in standalone format for Windows and Mac. It costs 109 EUR.
The upgrade is free for registered Cosmosƒ FX6 users. A bundle of Cosmosƒ Saturn 7S and Cosmosƒ FX7 is 249 EUR.
