Spectrasonics has announced the launch of Sonic Extensions, a new brand of innovative products built by Spectrasonics, that introduces a completely new experience for Omnisphere.
Each Sonic Extension title focuses on a specific aesthetic with Next Level Sounds, purpose-built Custom Controls, and two exclusive new Effects – which can be used on anything inside Omnisphere.
Not only does each one have a vast array of stunning new sounds, but also brand new ways of interacting with them, like their unique interface of Custom Controls. They also have an amazing new feature called Scenes, which gives you inspiring sonic variations within one patch.
The initial line-up includes 4 extensions:
- Undercurrent is a quintessential tool for dark electronic music production by Ignacio Longo. Includes the exclusive new “Under Fire” saturator/comp/EQ effect and “Under Echo” pitch-shifted ambience effect.
- Nylon Sky from guitar sampling legend Bob Daspit combines an extremely deep-sampled nylon guitar instrument with Omnisphere’s synthesis power and the gorgeous new Sky FX to create stunning ambient organic sounds.
- Unclean Machine by Retroland master Tolga Gurpinar delivers the ultimate LO-FI experience with the ultra-vibey new Unclean FX and a gigantic variety of over 2,000 sounds.
- Seismic Shock by veteran producer/sound designer Seth Norman fuses epic sounds with the next-level Seismic FX.
