Spitfire Audio has announced the release of Charango, the latest virtual instrument in the LABS series.

Spitfire Audio LABS Charango

The newest chapter in our LABS series is here. Not only is it magnificent — it’s FREE!

This charango — an Andean guitar-like instrument — was recorded back in 2006 by Christian Henson on a KM184 mic in his Soho flat, played by his brother Joe. This was the instrument that inspired Christian and Paul to create Spitfire Audio.

The instrument is a free download for the free Spire Audio App plugin for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3/AU/AAX).

If you are new to Spitfire LABS, make sure to check the Soft Piano, Strings, Drums, Amplified Cello Quartet, and Electric Piano as well.
