The free and open source hybrid Surge XT has been updated. Version 1.2.0 comes with various new major features in tuning, visualization and accessibility.
Featuring many synthesis techniques, a great selection of filters, a flexible modulation engine, a smorgasbord of effects, and modern features like MPE and microtuning. Surge XT is a wonderful tool. We love it. We think you will, too!
Surge XT now includes a built-in oscilloscope and spectrograph based on s(m)exoscope from Smartelectronix. Furthermore, Surge XT can now act as MTS-ESP provider (server), allowing the Surge XT Tuning Editor to provide tuning for all supporting clients in a session.
