Samplestar has launched a collection of 12 melody-driven production kits with its latest sample pack Syntastic 80s Synth Jamz.
Comprising a total of 250+ loops, one shots and MIDI files, the pack delivers huge, captivating synth hooks, powerful and anthemic classic drums, electrifying sequences, funk-infused synth basslines, shimmering neon guitars, and more.
1980 to 1989 – the decade most often associated with nostalgia, especially when it comes to some of our favourite synth anthems here at Samplestar HQ. Rather than focusing on modern interpretations like synthwave, we set out to make a truly authentic ’80s-inspired pack, celebrating some of the biggest producers and production powerhouses of the decade. Legends like Trevor Horn, Quincy Jones, Prince, Mike Stock, Matt Aitken, and Pete Waterman, to name but a few.
We dusted down some of our favourite classics from the Samplestar synth collection, including era-defining big polys like the Roland Jupiter 6, Oberheim Xpander, and Korg PolySix, alongside some lesser-known classics like the Crumar Bit01, Akai AX80, and the Siel Cruise to give an authentic feel to the library.
The sample pack is priced £14.95 GBP at the Loopmasters store.
