Synth Blade has announced a new soundset for Arturia’s software synthesizer Pigments. A selection of 32 presets, LOOM centers around the genre of LoFi Ambient, while also expanding beyond its boundaries to other genres like Drone, experimental Ambient, Downtempo, Electronica, Soundtracks and more.
LOOM’s patches mix a lush digital sound with analogue-esque modulations and lofi textures and the macros make it easy and intuitive for you to dial in what sound characteristics you want more of. Several presets are built on the granular sample engine and provide you with organic and layered sounds. The wavetable synth patches utilize Pigments’ wide variety of modulation options to deliver a lively thick synth sound that comes through in a mix.
The soundset is on sale for the intro price of 13.60 EUR for a limited time (regular 16 EUR). Requires Pigments v4.1.1.3513 or higher.
