Synth Magic has launched EKO Stradivarius, a virtual instrument for Native Instruments Kontakt featuring the sounds of one of the rarest and hardest to find string synthesizers from the 1970s.

This instrument is based on the rare and hard to find EKO Stradivarius analogue synthesiser. It involved quite a bit of searching to find one of these rare synths. I believe Vangelis used them extensively during live shows in the 1970’s and I knew one day I must find one and make a Kontakt instrument from it.

Many extra features have been added to greatly extend the range of sounds that can be created. Each section of the original hardware has been sampled: Contra Bass, Cello, Violin, Viola, Trumpet and Horn.

We also created an ensemble collection of samples which are easily selected from the front panel. This collection greatly increases the range of sounds that can be created. Easily create lush atmospheric strings and synth sounds from a bygone era.

EKO Stradivarius for Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher (full version) is available from Kontakt Hub for £30 GBP ex VAT. Until July 31st, you can save 33% off.
