The Alpine Project has announced a new and improved 2021 Edition of its free orchestral instrument sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt.
Consistently ranked as one of the top free orchestral libraries for Kontakt, the original Alpine Project libraries have been downloaded more than 100,000 times. The upcoming new edition is an update and consolidation of the entire collection.
When The Alpine Project was started five years ago, there were few free orchestral sample libraries in modern sampler formats. Since then, many of largest commercial sample library developers have released free orchestral libraries. The 2021 Edition of The Alpine Project serves to complement libraries like Spitfire Audio’s BBCSO Discover and Project SAM’s The Free Orchestra (which consist of orchestral sections and ensembles), by focusing on a wide variety of expressive solo instruments.
