Cytomic has announced an update to its analog modeled compressor effect plugin. Version 1.6.6 of The Glue comes with support for VST3 on both Windows and macOS, and adds support for Apple Silicon (universal binary) on macOS.
The Glue is an analog modeled compressor plug-in based on The classic 80’s British big console buss compressor with some handy additional features. It uses the same high quality algorithms used in circuit simulators, but optimised to run fast, and features a gorgeous fully scalable user interface.

- New: VST3 support including external side-chain input.
- New: Apple Silicon native builds on macOS of VST2, VST3, AAXv2 and AUv2.
- New: SIMD optimisations for both Intel / AMD (x64 SSE2) and Apple Silicon (Arm NEON).
- New: better HiDPI support on Windows.
- New: discontinued releasing 32-bit versions of Windows plugins.
The Glue is priced $99 USD. The update is to all existing customers.
