The Loop Loft has released Bop Mambo and Linear Leverage, two new sample packs in the multitrack drums series.
Inspired heavily by the sound and feel of late 50’s and early 60’s Blue Note releases (notably, the albums engineered by the great Rudy Van Gelder), the Bop Mambo Multitrack Drum Sessions consist of a combination of uptempo bebop and latin-jazz tracks.
Our fifth Multitrack Drum Session, Linear Leverage, release delves into the unique style of “linear drumming”. This is a conceptual approach to playing where no two limbs hit at the same time, resulting in an intricate, yet musical flow broken up between the kick, snare and hi hat.
