Time Off Audio has introduced a new transient splitter effect plugin that allows you to host your own plugins on the transient and tonal components of a channel.
dime [tt] aims to make it easy to tailor the character of the split and to manage and scan your plugin collection. It can also operate as a basic transient shaper.
Dial in the perfect split using detection controls (sensitivity and decay) to define an exact transient/tonal split. A balance control lets you blend power between the transient and tonal elements, and you can audition each too. A mix control is available for each plugin strip. The plugin UI can be set to light or dark mode. dime [tt] runs as a VST3 or Audio Units plugin, and similarly hosts VST3 and AU plugins. Every care has been taken to make the plugin scanning process as quick and nonintrusive as possible.
dime [tt] features
- Split audio into transient and tonal portions.
- Plugin hosting – Load your own plugins over each side of the split.
- Tweak the detection for transients with Sensitivity and Decay.
- Balance signal between splits, audition splits.
- Mix controls for each stack of plugins.
- Output metering.
- Dark / Light modes.
dime [tt] for Windows and Mac (VST3/AU) is available for the intro price of $30 USD until December 1st, 2024 (regular $35 USD). You can try the plugin for free for 7-days.
