Hello everyone, This is a hard question, since I like so many composers and soundtracks. I was thinking of Bernard Herrmann, who composed many scores for Alfred Hitchcock films and the original “The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951),” but I think I will have to go with Philip Glass’s “Notes on a Scandal (2006).” I am always impressed with that particular score, since its structure is quasi-minimalist and yet extremely effective for the film.
