Plugin Boutique has posted two new videos by Joshua Casper.
The first video tutorial is on the new SphereComp compressor plugin by W.A. Productions.
You can see how Joshua compresses some Deep House bass to make it solid sounding using the RMS compressor setting and a few of the FX nodes. He also covers all of the parameters available in SphereComp.
W.A. Production has created the perfect way to approach and achieve proper compression. All producers know compression can either be an award-winning tool if used properly, or it can totally destroy your mix. Audio students are introduced to compression and most are left confused or scared to death of it.
SphereComp is capable of catering to the seasoned pro and the beginner.
SphereComp is still on sale at 80% off until July 2nd, 2018.
The second video features the new Loc-Ness plugin by Tone Empire, a drum fx unit that offers saturation and dynamics designed for processing individual drum hits, the room sound, and the entire drum bus.
In the “Slam & Drum Saturation” video tutorial, Joshua goes over every parameter available in Loc-Ness, and demonstrates how to use the plugin to add depth and character and add a little bite to drums.
For decades pro engineers have used various combinations of compressors, pre-amps ,eq’s and saturation to make styles of sounds that stand out. Not just a compressor or eq, Loc-Ness is the mystical plugin that brings all the right controls and colors for drums to your workstation .
Loc-Ness is currently also on sale for the introductory price of $49 USD. This offer expires June 11th.
