UJAM has announced the release of its latest virtual instrument Groovemate One, the company’s first plugin in a new series of virtual percussion including sounds like tambourines, shakers and one-shot shakers, as well as claps.

Groovemate is intended to make tracks move and shake, and enhance rhythmic feel.

“The fastest and easiest way to make choruses shine is to add percussion. That’s all Groovemate ONE does, but that it does well.” says Musical Director and Sound Designer Derek von Krogh.

“With 30 styles made out of 4 percussive sounds, this simple production tool provides quintessential percussion for contemporary music. Like real-life percussionists, Groovemate ONE uses sophisticated patterns that work against or around the basic beat and emphasis, such as 3-over-4 and syncopations.”

Groovemate One features

  • 30 Styles – Combi and Solo Style.
  • 4 Sounds (Shaker, Claps, Tambourine, One Shot Shaker).
  • 9 Mix & 4 Ambience Presets.
  • MIDI Drag and Drop.

Available in VST, AU and AAX plugin formats, One is on sale at UJAM and distributor Plugin Boutique for an introductory price of 9 USD/EUR until May 9th, 2021. The regular price is 19 USD/EUR.
