UVI has announced the release of a brand new expansion pack for its Falcon creative hybrid instrument.
Kinetics features a deep and complex collection of sounds exploring the themes of movement, light, and shadow. The expansion includes 120 patches in categories of Ambient, Motion, and Rhythm, giving you everything from subtle and spacious modulated environments to complex rhythmic soundbeds, and chaotic glitch-inspired madness.
Inspired by the sounds of modular synthesis, Kinetics leverages the powerful sequencers and modulators of Falcon to create animated sounds with rich timbres and a high degree of customization. The sounds of Kinetics are elegantly crafted, instantly inspiring, and suitable for producers and musicians of any background.
Each of the instruments in Kinetics is designed to be expressive and playable, providing helpful controls and macros allowing you to sculpt your sound and create dynamic, expressive performances. As with all Falcon expansions, you have the ability to dig beneath the surface into each sounds patch structure, to manipulate and reshape it in any way you see fit.
The extraordinary sound quality of Falcon is evident throughout this collection, utilizing numerous synthesis and sound design techniques and a robust use of effects and modulators. Sounds can all be quickly previewed, edited, layered or performed with nearly limitless variation thanks to Falcon’s semi-modular architecture.
Kinetics is available for $39 USD / 39 EUR. A Falcon license is required to use this expansion pack (not compatible with the free UVI Workstation).
