UVI has announced the release of version 1.5 of its Kroma virtual instrument inspired by the rare Rhodes Chroma 16-voice analog synthesizer from the early ’80s.
The update now comes with 2 instruments: Kroma and the newly-added PolarX dual-layer synth inspired by the Rhodes Polaris.
Kroma 1.5 includes two instruments, Kroma and PolarX – a new dual-layer synth. Both come packed with custom designed presets programmed on fully-restored hardware units, including Arpeggios, Bass, Bells, Brass, FX, Leads, Pads, Strings, Sweeps. Even the basic waveforms of the keyboards were sampled to allow design of new patches. Take complete control of these classics with a built-in arpeggiator, step sequencer, LFOs and high-quality FX.
From elegant and brassy to fat and funky, Kroma and PolarX give you the sounds of two rare classics full of vintage ’80s analog flavor.
The instrument suite comes with 350 presets that deliver warm vintage analog sounds. You can use the presets as starting points for your own patch design.
Kroma is on sale for the intro price of $49 USD / 49 EUR through November 25th, 2019 (regular 79 USD/EUR). The update is free existing Kroma users.
Kroma is also included in the Vintage Vault 2 bundle, a comprehensive collection of 50 instruments, 111 drum machines and over 7,000 hand-crafted presets.
