Arturia has announced the release of V Collection 8.2, an update to the award-winning synth and keyboard suite.
With version 8.2, Arturia took user feedback into account and made a number of thoughtful enhancements. V Collection users can now enjoy macOS M1 native compatibility, more microtuning features, speedier performance, and much more.
A suite of 28 software instruments spanning analog synths, digital synths, organs, acoustic pianos, electric pianos, and string machines – recreations of the most iconic instruments of all time.
They’re faithfully emulated using exclusive analog and physical modeling technology for unparalleled realism, and enhanced to allow in-depth sound exploration that goes far beyond their ancestors. These virtual instruments can be used standalone or in your DAW of choice, and are designed to work seamlessly with your favorite MIDI controllers.
Changes in V Collection 8.2
- Apple M1 compatibility: V Collection’s instruments now feature native support for Apple’s next-generation M1 processors for flawless macOS performance.
- More microtuning: Clavinet V, Stage-73 V, Piano V, and DX7 V now feature ODDSound MTS-ESP versatile microtuning compatibility.
- GUI & animation upgrade: The response of V Collection instruments’ 4K interfaces is now quicker and smoother than ever thanks to an upgrade using the JUCE 6 framework.
- Preset loading: Presets from V Collection instrument’s factory libraries now load up to 2 x faster for smoother creative flow.
The free V Collection 8.2 update is available for registered users via the Arturia Software Center and at the Arturia website.
New users can purchase V Collection 8 at the discounted price of 299 USD/EUR instead of 599 USD/EUR at the Arturia website and from distributor Plugin Boutique until December 8th, 2021.
