VirSyn has announced the release of Cube Synth Pro, an additive synthesizer instrument for iOS.
Our benchmark setting series of Additive Synthesizers starting in 2003 with the original CUBE got a new member with Cube Synth Pro for iPad / M1. Some major feature additions and factory presets expand the sonic territory of Cube in new directions.
The synth features MIDI Polyphonic expression support (MPE), allowing for previously unknown expressiveness for music performers with MPE enabled controller hardware. The synth gives you the ability to mimic the behavior of sound characteristics of vintage polyphonic synths by modeling the slight deviation from perfection which are inherent of analog systems.
Other new features include a Unison mode with up to 8 oscillators per voice, AUv3 support, a new preset manager, and many other improvements and additions.
Cube Synth Pro is available from the App Store at the introductory price of $7.99 USD for a limited time.
