Zynaptiq has released version 1.2.0 of its Adaptiverb harmonic tracking reverb effect plugin for Windows and Mac.
The update adds much-requested value-locking for some parameters, GUI zoom, and 75 new artist presets by renowned sound designers Simon Stockhausen and Julius Selbach.
In a nutshell, Adaptiverb is designed to be a unique, “smart” reverb that adapts to the tonality of the input audio precisely – blending with the source without adding mud, clutter or dissonance. Adaptiverb can produce subtle ambience glue to dense “epic” tails and ethereal pitched spaces, instant organic drones and pristine cross-filtering.
ADAPTIVERB is a revolutionary reflectionsless reverberation plugin. Unlike traditional acoustic room modeling using reflections, ADAPTIVERB focuses on creating depth, harmonic richness, and butter-smooth harmonic tails without obscuring the source or perceptually moving it back.
Built using ray tracing reverberation, adaptive similarity filtering, and a revolutionary new AI technique similar to the technology that enables self-driving cars to avoid collisions, ADAPTIVERB can create lush spaces, smooth drones, and far-out textures while optionally filtering dissonance – so it never gets in the way of your sounds.
Adaptiverb is available from Zynaptiq and distributor Plugin Boutique for $249 USD / 249 EUR. The update is free for existing owners.
