Nick Crow has released Wagner Mk2 Sharp, a freeware tube guitar amp VST plug-in for Windows PC.

Wagner Mk2 Sharp features

  • DRIVE -Determines the amount of gain applied by the Pre Amp.
  • BASS, MID, TREBLE – Tone Stack controls.
  • POWER AMP – Determines the amount of gain applied by the Power Amp.
  • MASTER – Output level.

The plug-in doesn’t have a GUI so it will use the default GUI of your host.

    My friend has an ESP FlyingV with Active Duncans and we recorded some riffffffffzzzzz through my little Mynx SSL 9000 channel and used the “Aradaz OurCabinetModeler” plug and the SlimSlowSliders “Linear Phase Graphic EQ – Mastering” for some finetuning…SO,I tell ya,this is the BEST AMP MODELLER EVER!!!! It sound like Boogner,Engl,5150 MkII with a tubescreamer. Don’t pay for IK Multimedia on NI,this is the solution if you play Metal or Rock!!!Combined with the Aradaz stuff or with Voxengo CurveEQ,it’s magic!
