Sunsine Audio has announced the release of Vanishing Point, a dual gain stage silicon transistor fuzz featuring high-quality components and true bypass switching, designed for both traditional and electronic musicians.

The Vanishing Point fuzz is extremely sensitive to your instrument controls including volume, tone, pick-up selection etc. It can deliver both soft clipping (creamy tube-style distortion) as well as hard clipping (square-wave fuzz distortion).

Rob Papen has updated the RP-Distort distortion effect plug-in for Windows and Mac to version 1.0.1.

RP-Distort is not just a distortion unit, but much more. The distortion unit inside RP-Distort can be combined with an analog modelled filter, compressor and widener unit.

These units can be re-order, but also can be turned on or off. So in case you only want a great analog modelled filter… RP-Distort can offer this. Or only the unique widener unit which is great for widening a boring mono track.

Bedroom Producers Blog has announced that the freeware Mokafix Audio effect plug-ins are now available to download at its website.

Bedroom Producers Blog is proud to host all of the freeware VST plugins which were developed by Mokafix Audio, with kind permission of the author.

Mokafix Audio has developed a number of high quality guitar pedal emulations and virtual electric piano instruments for Windows, both commercial and freeware.

Unfortunately, none of these were available for download as of recently, so I’ve decided to contact Efflam Le Bivic of Mokafix Audio (now a graphic designer at Native Instruments) personally and ask him if it would be OK to host the freeware ones on BPB. Thankfully, he said yes!

The plug-ins are available to download for Windows (VST), and include the Metal Clone overdrive, Nu-Tron envelope filter, NoAmp! amplifier & cabinet simulation, and Glue Reeds electric piano.
