My Log Drum features 2 different playing “beaters”: mallet and fingers.
The log drum, also called Slit Drum, is an idiophone usually carved in wood or constructed in a resonant wooden box. On the surface there are some woodden tongues that can be struct to play a simple melody.
Our instrument is a “vintage” version of the most common log drum in commerce. It was used for years before we could get our hands on it. Some toungues were not perfectly in tune, and there was a small crack on a tongue that made the instrument to “sizzle” on strong beats. But… we felt its sound lovely and authentic and we hope you will enjoy its sound too.

Fluffy Audio has released My Piano, an upright piano sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt.
My Piano is a warm upright piano sample library for Native Instruments’ Kontakt designed for cinematic soundtracks, intimate jazz and classical impressionist-like music. There are special and unique controls for different parts of the piano, for the internal resonances, pedal sound and there’s even a knob to put some random noises into the recording.
The samples were taken with AudioTechnica AT4060 tube microphones, with NEVE preamps, to ensure the highest quality and warmth. The pedal resonances are handled separately, as well as the overtones and the body resonance of the piano, to allow the user to have a complete control over the piano sound.

It can recreate stutter effects, enables loop remixing in a number of different ways. It allows to catch a single note of a live instrument and to play with it like you would do with a classical sampler.It is a very useful instrument for live musicians, DJ and people who loves to experiment with sound.
