Image-Line releases MiniSynth beta for FL Studio

Image-Line has announced that its MiniSynth for FL Studio is now available for beta testing.

MiniSynth is a fully featured synthesizer with a low processor overhead and great sound. There are 6 tabs covering the synthesizer controls making it perfect when working with a touch interface (for which it was designed) or for the new user learning how to program synthesizers.

MiniSynth is also included with FL Studio Mobile and will be used when converting FL Studio Mobile projects to FL Studio format (FL Studio 11.0.5 not yet released). Even if you don’t use FL Studio Mobile, you will find MiniSynth a great addition to your library.

Image-Line releases Image-Line Remote MIDI controller for FL Studio

Image-Line has announced the release of Image-Line Remote, a free Android or iOS, Tablet or Phone, user-configurable MIDI controller application for FL Studio and Deckadance 2.

Image-Line Remote

Control FL Studio instantly or link your favorite instrument and effect plugins just as you can with any MIDI controller. Use a phone, tablet or any combination with up to 15 devices simultaneously.

Use the included controller tabs covering functions including; Transport Controls, MIDI Keyboard, FPC control, Harmonizer Keyboard, Performance Mode (Clip Launcher), Gross Beat FX, Mixer and more. If the control you want isn’t available then you can create your own.

IL Remote allows you to add custom tabs and add controls including Pads, Faders, Knobs, Jog Wheels, Mixer, Clip Launcher, X/Y Controls, Piano Keyboard, Harmonic Grid and Containers. There is a complete range of customization options for each control so that you can create virtually any virtual MIDI controller to suit your needs.

The app is available as a free download for iOS and Android.

Image-Line updates FL Studio Mobile for iOS to v2.3

FL Studio has announced version 2.3 of FL Studio Mobile for iOS, which now includes MiniSynth, a real-time synthesizer ready to be used in your FL Mobile projects.

Changes in FL Studio Mobile v2.3

  • MiniSynth (including 70 presets).
  • Modulation via accelerometer (new option in the keyboard setup).
  • Transfer button in the in-app shop for emailing your purchases to another device.
  • Bug fixes (report bugs and we will fix them).

The update is free to FL Studio Mobile users. Android will be updated with MiniSynth sometime earlier in 2014. A MiniSynth FL Studio plugin is also in development so MiniSynth FL Mobile projects can be transferred to FL Studio.

Image-Line updates FL Studio to v11.0.4

Image-Line has announced version 11.0.4 of its FL Studio music production software for Windows.

We are pleased to announce FL Studio has been updated to 11.0.4. This adds IL Remote compatibility, expanded controller support and fixes the list of issues reported since FL Studio 11.0.3.

Image-Line updates FL Studio Groove to v1.1

Image-Line has released version 1.2 of FL Studio Mobile for Android and version 2.2 for iOS.

Changes in FL Studio Mobile Android v1.2

  • HD graphics for 1080p and 720p devices (removes side bars).
  • Sequencer timing accuracy significantly improved.
  • Fixes various expansion file download and mounting errors.
  • Fixes wrong sample mapping after zip instrument import.
  • Minor other bug fixes and performance improvements.

Changes in FL Studio Mobile iOS v2.2

  • New features:
    • MIDI start/stop slave and master.
    • Input gain slider in the recording window (visible with external mic connected).
    • AudioCopy 2.0 support (iOS 7 compatible).
    • WAV export option to write 1 file per track.
  • Performance & speed:
    • Major performance improvements (play more tracks without audio dropouts).
    • Audio file editing is up to 5x faster.
    • Reverb quality and performance improved.
  • Other improvements:
    • Audio recordings are placed more accurately.
    • Setup latency options removed, it’s now always at minimum.
    • Filenames can now contain non-latin characters.
    • Inbox folder is no longer present, files are moved to the top level folder.
    • .flml (drum loop) files can be opened from other apps like Mail or Safari.
    • Overall stability greatly improved.

The feature-set of the Android and iOS versions will be harmonized in future updates, including the addition of the following features to the Android version:

  • Audio tracks and wave editor
  • Background audio (playback while the app runs in the background)
  • SoundCloud upload
  • In-app shop

While projects, .flm format, are compatible between Android and iOS, if audio tracks are present they are ignored. If instruments are not available the MIDI data is loaded and the a default instrument is used.

FL Studio Mobile is available to purchase for $19.55 USD (Android) / $19.99 USD (iOS HD version).
