Puremagnetik has releases TrapKit, a new sample library for Ableton Live 8, Kontakt and Logic.

TrapKit is a vintage 1960’s Ludwig drum set recorded in a large reflective room with a vast array of microphones. This sample set includes the original Ludwig Kick Drum, Rack and Floor Toms along with a well matched Snare drum, Zildjian Hi-Hats, Sabian Crash Cymbal and hand-hammered Zildjian Ride Cymbal.

All drums and cymbals were recorded with various articulations using both close mics and overhead mics. Multi-channel mixing, and non-repetitive sample triggering make TrapKit an extremely realistic and thoroughly musical sample set.

Puremagnetik has released Analog Drums, a collection of percussives captured from modular analog systems. It includes an assortment of expertly programmed kits and looped clips.

From dramatic pitch enveloped hits to squelchy filtered noises, Analog Drums contains a huge grab bag of multisamples all expertly programmed for Ableton Live, Kontakt and Logic. Produced entirely on Doepfer, LiveWire and MFB modular systems, Analog Drums was designed to pump the modern DAW full of real diodes, resistors and transformers!

This Micropak includes 5 ‘base’ kits alongside a selection of looped clips. The Ableton Live version includes a detailed programming of drum racks employing Live 8’s latest features. Each kit is paired with a selection of MIDI based Live Clips for extensive editing capabilities or simple ‘drag and drop’ song production.

The Logic version of Analog Drums includes all 5 kits, multiple variation kits and channel strips. A library of 50 SIAL (Software Instrument Audio Loops) Apple Loops are also included.

Analog Drums for Kontakt includes the 5 ‘base’ kits, each one programmed with a custom KSP GUI for fast tweaking and parameter adjustment. The library of 50 Apple Loops can easily be integrated into any Kontakt track, automatically time-syncing to your master session tempo.

Puremagnetik has announced the release of PM Grand, a multi-sampled Yamaha Conservatory Grand Piano.

This Micropak contains a collection of 9 advanced instruments and 50 looped clips of various styles. The included instruments contain multi-sampled programs with release and sustain tones, a “lite” version with a much smaller footprint, a reverse piano, an infinite sustained piano and several electrified tones.

Puremagnetik has announced Max Fuel, the First, a forthcoming bundle of Max For Live devices.
