man I really don’t like the elastik player, I think it’s the worst thing they could’ve done. They always had great samples, I used to have their stuff on sample cd…but once they went to the elastik player it just became a hassle.

Does this one have the wav samples in their own folders in addition to the elastik player format?

Yeah I hear you. I checked the free content they put out a while ago and I didn’t feel the Elastik Player either. I don’t think you can access the wav samples directly but the Elastik Player can export samples or slices to wav file…

yeah man…you have to export them manually lol, I mean I just don’t get it lol. They’d sell a lot more without that wack elastik player!

hm.. I like the Elastik Player. And don’t think that it’s worst soft.

    Hi there,

    just found this thread here.

    Regarding Elastik:
some people hate it, some people love it.
If you get used to it it’s a real advantage because it makes skipping through the library easier.

    Besides that,
exporting on mac can be done by drag and drop (hold down alt) which is very nice and fast. The sample is automatically time stretchted, too.

    Hope this convinces you ;)

    Cheers,
    wenzel

Yeah Wenzel, it’s all good man. I just don’t dig it. I think you guys have great sounds, but I’m just not a fan of the elastik player at all…

Maybe a hybrid approach where you give the actual loops as wav/aiff loops as well as have them mapped in the player.

I think you’d win over even more folks if they didn’t have to go through the hassle of exporting the wavs.

Sounds like it’s a bit faster on a mac, unfortunately, I use a pc :)

    thanks for the response!

    thank’s a lot for the mac-hint!

    you are welcome :)

FMV Extractor did all mine for pc . 10gb in 25 mins. No drag and drop 1 hitter quitter ya feel me. If you got a pc its faster then that drop and drag on Mac….Plus it does all of them at once. 1 con outta tha pros. Does not save in bpm or by original wav name. So you got to work with it in wav format but at least that they are in wav ya feel me. If you got an elastik set that needs Acidizing in a clean swoop for pc…dont thank me just get it so we all can. Works on every last one out. Even Ejay .scl format so no more workin around the programs.
