de la Mancha has released version 3.1 of Subhuman, a specialized 2 Osc synth for creating powerful sub bass, either for low down basslines, or sub-bass kick drums and drops.
Problem: In some presets, where the pitch envelope is turned off, the semitone value of the pitch envelope has a very large value, beyond the 0-36 range of the knob. This is not a problem for the preset as the envelope is turned off. However, if you turn the pitch envelope on, it will crash the host. However, if you turn the semitone knob left before switching the envelope on, it won’t crash.
Existing owners of Subhuman have 2 options to solve this problem:
- you can turn the semitone knob to the left before turning the pitch envelope on. Any movement of the knob will bring the value into range
- a new bank of presets with all semitone values within range is available to download
de la Mancha has updated both the full and demo versions to version 3.1, which fixes the presets.
