Sub51 has announced a new sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt and Komplete Kontrol and Logic Pro EXS24. Panic Room features a collection of 101 meticulously crafted, tonally textured samples/instruments.
The pack also includes a bonus pack of 45 movement/mechanical samples captured from various environments.
The focus of this library was to create a collection of samples and instrument to reflect the daunting and unsettling environment outside a ‘Panic’ or ‘Safe Room’. Presented as a fully-function Kontakt instrument, the ‘scripted’ front panel includes access to Level, Pan and Tune as well as AHDSR, EQ, Reverb and Delay. Panic Room would be perfect for layering sounds or simply using the samples as they come….Creativity and imagination is your only limitation.
Each of the 146 (101+45) samples have been recorded at 24 bit and sample instruments have been mapped across a 5 octave range and for those looking to audition samples quickly, an ‘All Samples’ instrument(s) has been created. For end users who enjoy realtime control over their Kontakt instruments, Host and MIDI automation is also pre-defined.
For users of NI’s Komplete Kontrol there is also the option to load and control Panic Room via the clearly defined pre-mapped files which also include instrument tagging information. For blind or partially sighted users, Accessibility Mode will enhance navigation of Panic Room.
Panic Room will appeal to genres such as Ambient, Chillout, Cinematic Downbeat, Electronica, Emotive, Experimental and Sub-electro.
Panic Room is available for the intro price of £11.25 GBP (regular £15 GBP).
