Classic Roland TR909 drums with added spice from the awesome TR808 percussion. Both Ableton drum racks run through a custom Drum Buss setting to add the authentic sound of compression and old skool dirt.
The unmistakeable sound of the Roland TB303 is recreated in Ableton’s Operator, with the most tweakable knobs from the original TB303 hardware, Filter Frequency, Resonance and Decay, ready to assign as macros. A clever overdrive rack uses both a pre and post EQ chain to add even more grit and grime to the timeless sound of there TB303.
The rave stab is totally customisable, with a Chord Selector, Phaser, Delay, Reverb, and Filter Frequency, to fulfil all your possible needs from an old skool rave to full on techno, all completely controllable using the uniquely programmed Ableton Macros.
A custom white noise machine using Analog and the Autofilter is set up to sweep and shape your white noise risers directly from 8 Macro knobs.
A totally customised master channel fattens up the sound and squashes it perfectly, while at the same time allowing you to zoom in on specific frequency bands to fine tune your mix with Macro knobs controlling Multiband Dynamics, Limiter, Analyser Meting, Mono and Band Isolation.

The powerful classic Roland TR808 drum sound nicely drumracked up here in Ableton Live is complemented with ambient percussion and tom fills, all neatly bussed into the Glue Compressor and a custom Overdrive Rack to give it a true old skool flavour. An authentic sounding electric bass patch is built from Suite Library Samples, chained into an Auto Filter to give the classic Moogerfooger squelch…biting nicely with a clever envelope follower.
Operator is used to create the classic deep house organ, making extensive use of Bit Reduction, Erosion and Tube Distortion to bring dirt and gritty flavours to the sound. The bell like riff uses Ableton’s Marimba patch on Collision, all run through a Bit Reduction adding high frequencies that sound more like an old skool FM synth.
