Independent sound community site A Sound Effect has kicked off a big new sound design contest with 4 chances to win popular sound effects libraries from Spectravelers.
On top of that, cloud sound effects platform Soundly is also sponsoring 1-year Soundly PRO subscriptions for two winners, giving access to 60,000 premium SFX & much more.
A sound effects giveaway is also launched alongside the contest, providing a chance to win prizes without having to enter the creative part of the contest. As an added bonus, all entrants get 20 free sound effects from Spectravelers to design from. These sounds can be freely used for other projects as well, including commercial ones.
4 winners are picked in total – One in each of these categories:
- Spectravelers’ Favorite Sound Design: The Grand Prize: All current Spectravelers libraries + a 1-year Soundly PRO subscription.
- Most Original Sound Design: 2 Spectravelers library of the winner’s choice.
- Best Retro Sci-Fi Sound Design: 1 Spectravelers library of the winner’s choice.
